Here's a fun fact for those who might be planning a trip to Costa Rica-The word for HOT, in Spanish, is caliente. Caliente begins with a "C". Water faucets imported from the USA almost all have a "C" on them. If your Hot Water never seems to get HOT in Costa Rica, try the handle with the "C". Note, this may change from bathroom to bathroom within the same house.

Not only will you have to figure out the faucets. Every toilet seems to have a different place for the handle to flush. Just using the restroom can be an adventure in foreign countries, if they even have one!
